Are you 50 years of age or older? Then “Encore Entrepreneurship-Business Begins at 50!” might be the perfect forum for you to consider starting your own business. In fact, one in four Americans between the ages of 44 and 70 are interested in starting their own business over the next five to 10 years.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) with American Association of Retired People (AARP) has put together a program that will help you determine if you should take the plunge and become your own boss.  You'll learn what it takes to register your business, meet with SBA resource partners like SCORE and counselors from the New Jersey Small Business Development Center at Rutgers-Camden who can help mentor you and provide you with valuable guidance along the way. You'll also learn about the variety of loan programs that can help you finance your business.
