Our "Stars and Space" storytime this week featured books about the night sky. 2-year-old children made a craft based on the book Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me, by Eric Carle.

Camping was the theme for this week's summer reading storytimes. Children came to “Camp out” in the library for a craft, stories and s’more fun!
Children ages 8-12 gathered round our campfire today for a silly story and crafts! Each child made an edible campfire and decorated a "Dream Big" personalized poster to hang in their room!
Children ages 5-7 enjoyed stories and a worry doll craft during the second week of our summer storytimes!

Following this summer’s reading theme, Dream Big-Read, our Mother/Daughter book club read about dreams with a twist. We read the BFG by Roald Dahl and enjoyed a fun discussion, refreshments and a no-sew pillow craft.
