Excited children gathered at the library yesterday in anticipation of creating a LEGO masterpiece! "Things that go bump in the night!" was our theme this week and many different monsters and haunted houses were made!
2-year-old children enjoyed some stories about nighttime animals and made a cute skunk craft at our "Creatures of the Night" storytime this week.
Camping was the theme for this week's summer reading storytimes. Children came to “Camp out” in the library for a craft, stories and s’more fun!
Children ages 8-12 gathered round our campfire today for a silly story and crafts! Each child made an edible campfire and decorated a "Dream Big" personalized poster to hang in their room!
Children ages 5-7 enjoyed stories and a worry doll craft during the second week of our summer storytimes!
Children ages 3-4 listened to stories and created worry dolls at last week's Night! Night! storytime.
Following this summer’s reading theme, Dream Big-Read, our Mother/Daughter book club read about dreams with a twist. We read the BFG by Roald Dahl and enjoyed a fun discussion, refreshments and a no-sew pillow craft.

This week's LEGO challenge.... Houses! Children ages 7-12 used their imaginations to create some great buildings at our LEGO program this week.
Children ages 8-12 had fun learning about the galaxy, while winning prizes, discovering some great books about outer space, and snacking on moon pies!
