We celebrated Valentine's Day at storytime this morning. Children ages 3-4 listened to stories and sang some fun songs about hearts, hugs, valentines and chocolate! At the end, everyone made a cute "Love Bug" hat to wear on this special day!

Things that Go! Storytime
Children ages 3-4 enjoyed a fun storytime full of planes, trains, trucks and automobiles this morning! We had lots of hands on fun and ended with some exciting parachute play.
Mother/Daughter Book Club
Our Mother/Daughter Book Club met last night to discuss the book Smile by Raina Telgemeier. We had a great discussion about this book, enjoyed refreshments, and made a fun picture frame craft!
Stories and More for Threes & Fours
Our first storytime of the year was held this morning! This week's theme was winter weather and clothing. Children ages 3-4 years old listen to stories, sang songs and made a cute mitten craft!
Legos at the Library
Children ages 7-12 came out to the library yesterday for some building fun at our "Legos at the Library" program. This month's theme was "Anything Goes," and everyone used their creativity to create some great masterpieces including, cars, castles and holiday themed pieces!
Children's Author Visit-Carole Lexa Schaefer
Children's author, Carole Lexa Schaefer was a special guest at our Super Saturday storytime on October 27th. She read some of her books to the children and talked to them about being an author.

Halloween Peeps-O-Rama Craft
Pumpkins, Ghosts and Cats, oh my! Peeps aren’t just for Easter anymore! Children ages 7-12 came to the library yesterday to create a spooky scene for Halloween using peeps, crafts supplies and their imaginations!
Storytime goes batty!
Children listened to some spooky stories at our “Happy Halloween” storytime and were treated to a tricky craft. Throughout the week, storytimes were offered for varying ages and everyone made a boo-tiful bat craft!
