Rainy Day Storytime
Pitter, Patter, Drip, Drop, Splish, Splash, Sploosh! Children ages 3-4 participated in some rain dances and pretend puddle jumping at our Rainy Day storytime today. We read stories about rainy days and made some music with rhythm sticks and egg shakers throughout our program!
Gardening Storytime
Children learned that flowers and vegetables can grow up, down or all around at our gardening storytime today. Children ages 3-4 listened to stories about flowers, vegetable gardens, and the worms who play an important role in the process! We also created a pop-up flower craft after our stories
Nursery Rhyme Storytime
Mother Goose was on the loose at the library today! Children ages 3-4 listened to classic nursery rhyme stories, as well as a few with a new twist. When the stories were over, we danced and played musical instruments to some classic nursery rhyme songs.
Bunnies & Ducks Storytime
Is it a bunny or a duck? Children ages 3-4 were asked this question as they heard a flannel board story based on the book Duck!
Sew Special
Children ages 8-12 have been busy learning the basics of hand sewing in our Sew Special I program offered this month. In this 3-week series, each child is learning how to thread a needle, knot the thread, several stitches, and even sew on a button.

Monsters at the Library!
Monsters were the theme for this week's 3-4 year old storytime. We stomped, snorted and sang like monsters, and read some great books about these creepy creatures! We ended by using our imagination to create one-of-a-kind monsters with play-doh, googly eyes and pipe cleaners!
