The paintings of artist, Mukti Belahal are on view at the Burlington County Library's art gallery from June 4 through June 30.

Based in the Bordentown area, Belahal is a native of India who developed an interest in painting while attending school in Mumbai. She is best known for her uses of color and texture.  Oil paint is Belahal's favorite medium, but she also enjoys working with watercolor, pencil, acrylics and pastels. Inspiration for many of the works come from her travels and imagination.

There will be an opportunity to meet the artist during a reception held in the gallery on Wednesday, June 19 from 7 pm - 9 pm.  All are welcome to attend. Those interested in purchasing the artist’s works can visit her website!
