The Great Courses are a series of college level courses on DVD covering a wide range of topics. They are usually accompanied by a booklet that provides an overview of each lecture and further resources. The library has acquired an intimidating number of these DVDs (too much to learn!) and they are helpful as an accompaniment to college courses and also great just for pleasure. Many times I've found that documentaries from, for example, the History Channel are not very in-depth, but The Great Courses certainly are. So give one a try and keep on learning! Featured below is just some of our collection of this series.
