  • Mount Holly

The Mount Park in Mount Holly is not only the township’s namesake but it is also the site of a diversionary battle during the 1776 American Revolutionary War. Over the years this park has fallen into disrepair and much of the forested area has been taken over by English Ivy, choking out the native understory. Join us in learning how a Sustainable Jersey Grant will be used to restore 4 acres of the park to a healthy, diverse, native state.

This workshop will:

1) answer your questions about the upcoming Mount Restoration Project and

2) provide information on ivy alternatives – how to landscape with native plants and groundcover.

This program is being sponsored by the Mt Holly Green Team and Burlington County Gardeners Association.
