The Burlington County Gardeners Association will sponsor a Preserving the Harvest Workshop. Learn to preserve the summer's bounty and stretch your grocery dollars. An FDA Certified Canner will present information about several types of canning (hot water bath, pressure canning and refrigerator canning) as well as dehydration and freezing techniques. Equipment, safety issues and concerns, resources for recipes and instruction and recommended tips will also be discussed. This workshop is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
