Have you ever wondered what it takes to enter the Philadelphia International Flower Show? After this workshop you will have all of the information you need to try for a blue ribbon!
The Philadelphia Horticultural Society (PHS) presents an introductory and preparatory workshop for the 2013 Philadelphia International Flower Show. This year, the title is “Brilliant!” The show will reflect everything fascinating and amazing about British culture through flowers and gardens. Francesca Northrup, Chair of the show, will give a Power Point presentation containing information on the PHS, including background on the show and designs from past shows. Joining Francesca will be many experts who will share their years of expertise on every aspect of entering and displaying an arrangement at the show. Topics covered will be: How to Enter, Design Types, Staging, Timeline and Support. Materials, including Entry Forms, the Exhibitor Guide, Staging Diagrams, Flower Resources and Exhibitor Tips will be available.
