The first Historians' Roundtable of 2013 will be held on Saturday, March 2nd in the new Auditorium of the Burlington County Library System on Pioneer Boulevard in Westampton (off Woodlane Road).  County Historian Joe Laufer will be joined by his colleagues Paul W. Schopp and Dave Kimball as they review historical events planned in the region over the next few months and discuss issues of interest to both local history groups and the public at large.  The program will be an open "Town Meeting" forum during which participants will be able to bring up questions of local historical interest and share information about historical events in their local communities.  Mr. Laufer will premiere a new power point presentation "The Burlington County Library System: A History - 1921-2013 - More Than Just Books," created to celebrate the opening of the newly expanded Library Headquarters and will showcase the new 250-seat Auditorium.  Admission is free and open to the general public, but registration is requested.  The program will start at 10:00 a.m. sharp and run until 12:30 p.m..  An agenda will be posted at the County Historian's Website: www.BurlcoHistorian.com on February 15.  Participants are invited to attend the Burlington County St. Patrick's Day Parade and related events (www.mounthollyparade.com) in nearby Mount Holly immediately after the program.  The parade will step off from Fairgrounds Plaza onto High St. at 1:00 p.m.
