Learn about engineering from members of the Think Like a Girl team and perform a fun, hands-on activity that teaches basic engineering principles and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) skills! Program is for ages 10-12 years. Registration is required.

The program will be led by members of the Think Like a Girl team. First, the team will discuss engineering and issue a design challenge to the participants. After the presentation, the participants will participate in a hands-on activity that introduces basic engineering principles in an interesting and creative way. Activities will vary by program and may contain items such as food, synthetic dyes, and other basic craft materials.

After the activity concludes, the participants will have the opportunity to work on outfit designs for Gaby Gadget or coloring Gemma and Gaby's animals friends. Parents will have the opportunity to learn more about the company and the underlying mission!

Think Like a Girl: Engineering Kits is a subscription service of packages marketed toward girls 6-12+ to encourage them to learn about engineering in ways they enjoy and learn best! In addition, Think Like a Girl aims to outreach to the community to teach girls about engineering and future careers in STEM. Check them out at:
