The Mount Holly Library will be participating in Mount Holly Armed Forces Appreciation Day by hosting a free derby race for 4 to 12 year olds. Cars will be supplied and there will be prizes for the first 100 participants.

Mount Holly Armed Forces Appreciation Day is a day to welcome Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst military personnel and their families to embrace Mount Holly as their hometown.

Other events throughout the day include:

  • 12th Annual Mount Holly Car Show
  • Quilt of Valor Ceremony - 2 pm
  • Free food provided by the Elks for active duty military and family with ID
  • Eateries with military specials
  • Beer Gardens
  • Merchant incentives, sidewalk sales, and vendors
  • Open house for local churches
  • Children's activities and therapy dogs and horses
  • Free admission to Prison Museum
  • Historic Log Cabin
  • Local league softball at Monroe Park
  • Live music, DJ's, and radio stations B101.5 and Mix 106.1
  • Fireworks at dusk

Please note that High Street will be closed between Levis Drive and Washington Street beginning at 10:00 am.
