Golden Globe-nominated as Best Foreign Language Film, this uplifting comedy follows fallen Russian maestro Andrey Filipov (Aleksey Guskov), who seizes a chance to reunite his orchestra and reclaim his life 30 years after politics cut short his music career. After intercepting an invitation sent to the Bolshoi to perform at a Paris theater, Filipov gathers a ragtag band of ex-colleagues and a French violinist (Mélanie Laurent) to realize his dream.
