Frequently, an old conviction can interfere with your ability to obtain a job, security clearance or financial aid to pursue your education. A prior conviction can even make it difficult to maintain your current job. Many people are eligible for an "Expungement" which is a legal procedure that will "conceal" a criminal or disorderly persons conviction under qualified circumstances.

In addition to a question and answer period, this seminar will provide information on who is eligible for this process, the types of records that can be expunged, time requirements, how to file and what happens at an expungement hearing. Forms needed to begin this process will be available upon request.
