Looking to start the new year off with a new hobby? Come by the Pinelands Library for a six week series on the basics of calligraphy and lettering art.

Lettering, everyone letters we just make it fun and colorful. What better way to spend time slowing down, remembering to breathe by discovering the gentler way of lettering? Writing a quote that gives meaning to our lives, a positive quote to reinforce the good as well as to remind us to be kind to ourselves.

This program is hosted by Ms. Maureen Peters, a past president of Philadelphia Calligraphers’ Society as well as the owner of Letterworks Art Studio and partners in East Coast Calligraphy Supply and More in Collingswood. She has taught calligraphy and lettering at libraries throughout the tri-state area.

Note: This is a three-week series. Patrons will be signing up for all three events, which will be held on 10/10, 10/17, and 10/24.

THIS PROGRAM WILL OPEN FOR REGISTRATION ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH.
