Attention all aspiring artists, between the ages of 16 and 22! This summer the BCLS will be offering three art class series', held over 8 weeks. You will have the opportunity to learn the basics of comics, an intro to figure drawing, and color theory. Each class runs around 2 hours.

Intro to Figure Drawing:

If you’re looking for ways to improve your figurative drawing and learn about human anatomy, this is the course for you. Drawing the human body correctly and accurately is only one aspect of visual art, but an important one nonetheless. Basic human proportions, facial features, and muscular structure will be broken down in order to deconstruct their components and reconstruct them in a figurative piece.  The course will focus on drawing a complete skeleton, musculature, and then a finalized complete figure.
