Post-It Art Show Pemberton

For Summer Reading this year, we're hosting a Post-It Art Show until the end of August for kids and teens participating in the Summer Reading Program! Get creative and use a Post-It as your canvas! Enter your Post-It masterpiece into our Art Show anytime at the Children's Desk. Don't have a Post-It? No problem! Pick one up at the Children's Desk! Entry forms and Post-Its will be available starting Monday, June 23rd. Entries will be accepted anytime beginning June 23rd. Read anything good lately? Share your favorite books with us by filling out a Reader's Choice form and earn a prize from our prize box. Teen volunteers will be available to assist you.

 
Kids Art Showcase, Ages 5 - 12 Cinnaminson

You are the artist! If you like to draw or paint, share your talent by displaying your artwork at the library. You will receive a prize at the end of the summer.

 
Fizz, Boom, Read Scavenger Hunt Florence

1st Annual Florence Township Library Scavenger Hunt. All ages are welcome. Community wide participation, clues available weekly, prizes awarded. The first set of clues will be available on July 3. Register at the circulation desk.

 
Thaumatrope Make-n-Take Craft Pemberton

All ages are invited to drop in anytime during library open hours to make your own optical illusion craft in the Children's Area from July 14th-18th! No registration necessary. Craft materials will be available until supplies last.

Join our veteran knitting instructors, and learn to read knitting patterns, cast on, knit, purl, and cast off along with other basic and advanced knitting techniques. Participants are required to bring 4-ply yarn and short #9 or #10 knitting needles.

Knitters of all levels are invited to join us for this 5-week series. Bring a project that you are working on or pick one out at class. Beginners please bring size 10 knitting needles. The yarn will be provided. * Please note that when you sign up, it is for all 5 weeks.

Teens ages 12-18, come to Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meetings, held every third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Remember how much you loved reading Eric Carle's books, like  the Very Hungry Caterpillar !  He used "collage" to make his illustrations. This Collage workshop will focus on his method.   Participants should be ages 8 and up!

Insects comprise one of the largest groups of animals on the planet.  Through hands-on activities, insect samples, and explorations, participants will learn about the invertebrate life cycle and how not everyone needs to have a backbone to be strong and survive.
