Post-It Art Show Pemberton

For Summer Reading this year, we're hosting a Post-It Art Show until the end of August for kids and teens participating in the Summer Reading Program! Get creative and use a Post-It as your canvas! Enter your Post-It masterpiece into our Art Show anytime at the Children's Desk. Don't have a Post-It? No problem! Pick one up at the Children's Desk! Entry forms and Post-Its will be available starting Monday, June 23rd. Entries will be accepted anytime beginning June 23rd. Read anything good lately? Share your favorite books with us by filling out a Reader's Choice form and earn a prize from our prize box. Teen volunteers will be available to assist you.

 
Kids Art Showcase, Ages 5 - 12 Cinnaminson

You are the artist! If you like to draw or paint, share your talent by displaying your artwork at the library. You will receive a prize at the end of the summer.

 
Fizz, Boom, Read Scavenger Hunt Florence

1st Annual Florence Township Library Scavenger Hunt. All ages are welcome. Community wide participation, clues available weekly, prizes awarded. The first set of clues will be available on July 3. Register at the circulation desk.

 
CLUE Scavenger Hunt Pemberton

Children of all ages are invited to check in at the Children's Information Desk to get a Clue Answer Sheet and hunt around the Children's Area to check off suspects, weapons & rooms from July 7th-11th. Think you know who did the crime? Turn in your answer sheet to find out! All correct answers will be entered into a drawing for a prize at the end of the week! No registration necessary to participate.

Come to the Evesham Library and meet "Roller Roo" the energetic mascot of the International Sports, Skating & Fun Centre of Mt. Laurel and Cherry Hill. Roller Roo plans on reading a story,sharing a snack and having a photo opportunity with his new fans. Skating passes will be distributed.

Yoga is a fun and vibrant way to get kids bending, breathing, twisting, and stretching. Kids will find their connection with the Universe though playful poses, such as Rabbit, Dog, Camel, River, Stone, Star, and more! Kids will generate warmth and energy within and translate it into the world around them through a series of Sun Salutations. Guided meditation at the end of the session will help kids develop focus, self-awareness, and a sense of calm.

Please be sure to have the children:

  • Wear comfortable, breathable clothes.
  • Bring a yoga mat or a large towel to use as a mat

Stories can be told in a variety of ways, but one of the most popular methods is through song. Learn how to use the mobile version of Apple's Garage Band to create a melody all your own. Teens will be encouraged to submit their musical creations to the Tell Us Your Story Contest. Those wishing to combine their created songs/scores with an existing video project will learn the basics of doing so.
