“This exhibit of African American History is being presented by Gloria Irby, Glyndora Xing and Marossa Davis as our gift to the community.

This year’s exhibit features facts, artifacts, visual displays and books highlighting the many contributions made by our ancestors from Africa to our early history through the 50’s to the present. Local residents are celebrated as well.”  –   Marossa Davis

Blind Date With a Book
Celebrate Valentine’s Day by going on a blind date….
with a book (perhaps one you’ve never met before).

The rules are simple.

Come into the Library Company of Burlington and select one of the sealed bags here on the desk .

Please do not open the bag until after you have checked out at the Circulation Desk.

Remember—this is a blind date so be brave!

Fill out the “Rate Your Date” slip contained inside with the book and hand it back to the Library Company of Burlington's Circulation Desk by February 28th.
*For ages 18 & over please.

The AARP Tax-Aide Program offers FREE tax help for taxpayers with low and moderate income, with special attention to those age 60 and over.
Taxpayers need to bring all appropriate documents with them to the library.

Learn how America's first native-born and trained architect went from a child in South Carolina to United States Federal Architect. Hear about his life-long friendship with Thomas Jefferson, the many monuments and buildings he is credited with, and his vision for advancing society in America.

The presentation will take place at the Burlington County Lyceum of History and Natural Sciences (307 High St, Mount Holly).

Join the knit/crochet circle at Cinnaminson Library!  This is a friendly, community oriented activity for adults, where you can get to know other knitters and crocheters. Instructor Diane Lawrence of “Knitting for God’s Kids” will teach new members the basics. If you already have a project you’re working on, come on out and join us, and the instructor will be on hand to provide guidance. Participants can work on projects for their own use or use their knitting or crochet skills to create items for a suggested charitable project. You will need to bring your own tools and materials. This is a FREE class, but is limited to the first 15 people who sign up.

The Burlington County Gardeners Association will present a workshop on greenhouse and hoop house construction. This talk is geared to the gardener with a little room in the backyard and a desire to extend the growing season. Topics covered will include wood frame construction, greenhouses vs hoop houses, and high vs low tunnels. Simple plans will be available. All are welcome. No registration required.

Yoga Pretzels is a fun and vibrant way to get kids bending, breathing, twisting, and stretching. Kids will find their connection with the Universe though playful poses, such as Rabbit, Dog, Camel, River, Stone, Star, and more! Kids will generate warmth and energy within and translate it into the world around them through a series of Sun Salutations. Guided meditation at the end of the session will help kids develop focus, self-awareness, and a sense of calm.
