African Roots American Fruit Exhibit

“This exhibit of African American History is being presented by Gloria Irby, Glyndora Xing and Marossa Davis as our gift to the community.

This year’s exhibit features facts, artifacts, visual displays and books highlighting the many contributions made by our ancestors from Africa to our early history through the 50’s to the present. Local residents are celebrated as well.”  –   Marossa Davis

Soft & gentle yoga is good for beginners, students wanting a slower paced class, those who are very stiff or have minor injuries.  This class is for those who want a comfortable, nurturing yoga experience with lots of stretching, breathing exercises and deep relaxation.  Gently improves posture, balance, flexibility and strength.  Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies.

NEW! Not That Kind of Book Club – Love to talk about books, but too busy to read for a deadline?  Want to hear about books that other readers have enjoyed? Join us for a nontraditional take on books clubs – read whatever you want and attend whenever you can.  Share a recent read or an old favorite.

The Not That Kind of Book Club meetings will be held the third Tuesday of November, January, March, and May.

February's book club will follow the NTKB sharing format.
