Mystery Scavenger Hunt Pemberton
Children of all ages are invited to drop in anytime the library is open and pick up a Scavenger Hunt contest form at the Children's Information Desk. Looking for a gift or decoration for the holidays? Please join us and learn how to make a decorative table runner. All you need to know is basic machine sewing. We have several sewing machines available for your use. You can, however, bring your own portable sewing machine. Fabric and cutting supplies will be provided. If you wish to purchase your own fabric you will need one 1/2 yard and one 1/3 yard of coordinating fabrics. Let’s have a fun time getting ready for the holiday season.

What could massage and energy therapies possibly do for your child? If you have a colicky baby wouldn’t a quick massage technique to relax your baby so you may both sleep help? Would less pain and a shorter healing time from sports and play injuries be great for you and your child? Sharon will go over the benefits of massage for your child at the various stages of development and teach a few techniques to be used at home. Sharon will also introduce essential oils and how they can be used for everyday childhood concerns, including which basic few should be in your first aid kits.

Get ready for Halloween Fun! Spooky and Cute Halloween stories with a special Halloween craft!

This magic show has a Halloween theme! Brian Richard will give tips on safe trick or treating and entertain with spooky magic. You will get a treat from seeing his tricks!
Kids ages 7 - 16. Lego Masters present for this month's challenge. Builders will work in teams or individually to complete this challenge, and then stay to create whatever they wish to work on next. Legos are provided, so please do not bring bricks from home. Snacks may be served. Registration required and begins on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
