Kids 7 and up joined forces to create their own stop-motion videos at the Pinelands Library on Friday, June 12th! After a brief demonstration, kids were asked to work together to make their Play-Doh characters come to life!

Over sixty attendees were entertained & amazed by magician extraordinaire, Leonardo, at the Pinelands Branch Library in Medford earlier this month!
We now offer free museum passes for the Morris Arboretum at four of our library branches: Main Library, Maple Shade, Pinelands, and Riverton. Each pass admits two adults and up to four children. Passes may be borrowed for four days on a first come, first served basis.
Clutter can make us feel flawed, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, inefficient and downright unhappy. It drains us of our energy.
May is "Get Caught Reading Month"! This is a nationwide campaign to remind people of all ages how much it is to read! Here at the Pinelands Branch, we have been on the lookout to catch people reading all month long. If we catch you reading, you might even get a little prize.
Kids at the Pinelands Library enjoyed many rounds of Book Cover Bingo yesterday. We played some fun variations on the traditional game, including "blackout" which is when you have to cover your entire bingo board to win!

Outer space was this month's theme for Lego Club at the Pinelands Branch.
Yesterday, kids at the Pinelands Branch got to practice their reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to Ocho, a registered therapy dog. Ocho is a lovable 3 year old German Shepherd and he loves to hear a good story.
