I grew up in Cinnaminson, so I remember back when the children's room was upstairs. One of the coolest things I remember about the library was that there was a collection of toys that could be checked out. I was particularly fond of a small wooden wagon that I checked out over and over.
There is now a website for the Open Book Club.
On the Currently Reading page, you'll find all of our upcoming reads. If you click on the titles, you will get more information about the book. Most links lead to a list of discussion questions. The Discussion Boards page takes you to links where you can discuss the book on a message board, as well as a message board just for recommending books for the club to read. The Past Reads page lists the titles the club has already read. On this page, you will find links to more information about the books and the authors. Please explore our new website! If you know anyone who wants ideas for what to read for their book club, please invite them to take a look at The Open Book club's site.

Parenting is tough these days, and we want to help. Does your child say hateful things to you when you make even the simplest request? Has your child’s backtalk crossed the line into verbal abuse, with cursing and ugly name calling? Do your kids get worse when they argue? The Family Service Organization is holding a two-part workshop at Cinnaminson Library on Wednesday, April 3rd and Wednesday, April 10th. They will teach you what to say when your child gets out of control and teach them how to make better choices the next time.
Scott Homan is trapped by his opponent in an intense game of Chess at the Cinnaminson Branch Library. If you would like to join Scott, and other players, in this thought provoking battle of wits on a chess board, you may join them twice a month in the Youth Services meeting room.
