Support the Library

Gifts

• A bequest to the library of money or property to ensure the continuation of service to the community through the years.
• An endowment that will generate interest annually for the purchase of special items such as computer software or literacy materials.
• A gift of equipment such as a new computer to reflect the interest of the giver or the person being honored.
• A book gift to commemorate a birthday or anniversary. The donor has the option of selecting the subject. A bookplate will be placed in each book.

Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is a group that coordinates programs and fundraising drives to benefit the library and its users. Their primary goal is to obtain financial support through membership dues and fundraisers such as book sales. You can help your library's Friends group by sending a contribution, volunteering for a book sale or other fundraiser.

Give Your Gently Used Books

The library accepts donations of used books, CDs and DVDs that are less than 5 years old and in good condition. Exceptions may be made if the material has continued popularity, significance to state or local history, permanent value as source material, or classic literary or artistic value. The library cannot accept magazine or newspaper donations except under special circumstances. Donations might be added to the collection or given to the Friends of the Library for selling at library book sales. For more information, or contact your library.
