Working at BCLS

Three types of positions are available. The listing below does not necessarily indicate current job openings. Applications for library employment are available at the County and Branch libraries. For further information you may call 609-267-9660 ext. 3021.

LIBRARIAN
Eligibility: You must possess a Master of Library Science degree and New Jersey public library professional certification.

STAFF MEMBER
Eligibility: To work as part of our clerical support team you must enjoy working with the public and have computer experience or be willing to learn computer routines. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

STUDENT ASSISTANT
Eligibility: To work as a Student Assistant you must be at least 16 years old (If under 18 working papers are required) and attending either high school or college on a full or part time basis.
