BCLS is excited to introduce “Community Stories,” an exploration of personal tales and life journeys from fascinating residents of Burlington County.

The series kicks off Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. when Documentarian Steve Besserman appears in the auditorium at the County Library to host a discussion about the importance of storytelling and learning from the unique voices in our community. Besserman will share portions of Only A Number, his award-winning documentary about his parents' Holocaust survival love story, and conduct a question-and-answer session with the audience. The Chief Storyteller at AriJoe Productions, Besserman will also host a screening of Bunnie, a 20-minute film about the importance of capturing, preserving and sharing life stories and family histories, and "Leaving Your Legacy."

Please join us for an engaging evening of discussion, the first “story” in our new series of personal accounts from the community.
